Why Dylan Started MVF

A Mission Born From Personal Experience

Most Valuable Friend was founded by Dylan Shah after watching his brother, who has speech apraxia, struggle to form friendships despite deeply wanting to connect with other kids.

Dylan saw firsthand how isolating it can be when communication differences stand in the way of something as simple and vital as friendship. He started MVF to make sure no child has to go through that alone.

Every family that gets started with MVF is part of a community built on that same belief: that every child deserves the chance to belong.
